Penghu County Government City Bus and Ferry Management Office –Magong Ferry Terminal was constructed with a NT$15 million budget under the 2008 Local Infrastructure Expansion Plan. Covering an area of 297.31 square meters with a height of 3.84 meters, the facility features a modern architectural design with a clean and bright interior. Its outdoor wooden deck provides an inviting space for visitors to enjoy the sea breeze and fresh air.

Since its opening on June 30, 2009, the terminal has enhanced passenger comfort by offering a sheltered space from wind and rain. The facility also features clear pathways for loading and unloading cargo and passenger boarding, effectively regulating vehicle and pedestrian movement for improved safety. Overall, it has enhanced the quality of ferry travel and improved the scenic appeal of the pier for visitors.
